Are you ready?
Don’t get too excited about massive changes…there aren’t any.
As you can see, the paint, a very pleasant light grey was in good shape and while I may have preferred it to be white, after painting the bedrooms I wasn’t in the mood to re-paint the entire rest of the condo white. Everything is open concept and so transitioning from light grey to white would mean painting the living room, kitchen, office (that little nook behind the sofa), and hallway. Nope. No thank you.
Painting isn’t on my to-do list. The light grey actually makes my white chair and shelf stand out more than if the walls were white.
The TV stand? It’s vintage. Authentic vintage. This used to be my grandfather’s Hi-Fi (aka: radio and record player – neither work anymore) from the ’60s. My Dad used to sit in front of this to listen to Leafs games as a wee kid.
I quickly claimed it while helping clean out my grandfather’s apartment a few years ago before he moved into a nursing home. It was supposed to be for sister, as I knew she would love it, but if she ever moves back, I’m not sure I can part with it because I love it too much now. (sorrynotsorry, sister. It also weighs approximately 18,000 pounds and should stay here)
